ICON 2009 Winner for Best Invitation

Very rarely does a client come to em with a theme for a wedding. Since the rose was such an important part of the Phantom of The Opera. I designed the entire wedding invitation around that. I choose a black rubber paper for the folder so the embossed rose would look 3 dimensional and glisten while it sat in the box. I incorporated black lace to add a touch of femininity to the piece. The invitation was designed to be nestled in the box to resemble a gift when delivered to each guest. The rose logog was carried out in a custom stamp for the RSVP as well as the outside of the mailing box.
