The ICON Awards, sponsored by Confetti magazine, has been recognized in the daily newspapers as the best party of the year in Denver. This anticipated event honors the best and brightest professionals in the special events industry. Every year since 1999, individuals and companies who are involved in the production of special events, have been invited to submit entries to the magazine of their most outstanding achievements during the year. Entries are taken to Aspen where a panel of judges carefully evaluate each one to select award finalists in 13 categories. Finalists are chosen based on creativity, originality, and overall integration of elements and execution of an event or service. The 2008 ICON Awards will be held on February 26, 2009.
