Imago Theatre’s FROGZ!

To: October 28 2013 @ 11:30 am

WHERE: Lakewood Cultural Center

Lakewood Cultural Center presents Imago Theatre's innovative and imaginative FROGZ!, an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike. Ingenious masks, mesmerizing movement, outlandish costumes and original music score creates a carnival of the absurd. The show presents universal themes with a light touch, as animals take on human characteristics and inanimate objects such as orbs and slinkys engage in silly humanistic movements. FROGZ! put Imago Theatre on the international map. The simplicity and the charm of the show catapulted the production to two Broadway runs at the acclaimed New Victory Theatre. It has been seen on stage and television by more than 1 million people, has been performed in China, Europe and at some of North America’s most revered festivals. The New York Times raved about the “mastery of mime, dance and acrobatics." The Boston Globe called FROGZ! "that rare theatrical event: family friendly entertainment that is actually friendly to everyone in the family.” More information can be found by visiting Imago Theatre’s website at www.imagotheatre.com.
