The show will feature the culmination of ideas and inspiration gathered throughout his career—a retrospective journey in paint. A reception for the artist will be held on Friday, November 8 at the gallery. For those familiar with the oil paintings by Colorado artist, Ron Hicks, this exhibition will cover familiar ground, however, with a subtle evolution.

WHERE: MCA Denver 1485 Delgany St Denver, CO 8020212 ½ Days of Xmas LIVE! The Few. The Proud. The Weird. After searching high and low for performers, and reviewing many, many applications, MCA Denver is proud to announce the full line-up for 12 ½ Days of Xmas LIVE! The rules were simple, we asked performers to submit a proposal for a 30 minute holiday performance that could be contained on an 8'x8' stage – with no explosives, running water or live animals. A five-person selection team reviewed each application and narrowed the field down to just 13 entries. All performances will take place in the atrium of MCA Denver, with weekday performances occuring at 5PM and weekend performances taking place at NOON. There are no performances on Mondays, Christmas and New Year's Day.
