31 Hours of Myopia

The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver) will host a 31 Hours of Myopia before Mark Mothersbaugh: Myopia leaves on its national tour. On April 25th, from 10 am through 5 pm on April 26, the museum will close the highly acclaimed exhibition with the following programming:   ·      Skype bedtime stories with Mark Mothersbaugh ·      Myopia stargazing on rooftop deck ·      Midnight tour with Adam Lerner, Director of MCA Denver ·      80s karaoke in Cafe ·      Tarot card readings ·      Early morning dance party ·      Final goodbye with drum-line at 5 pm on Sunday ·      And more The exhibition, organized by MCA Denver, brings together the first comprehensive presentation of Mothersbaugh’s art and music to date, from the beginning of his career in the early 1970s through the present.   Tickets are available at the door with regular admission and only $5 from 5 pm to 5 AM.

Community Day

WHERE: Volunteers will meet at Sculpture Park before being sent to 50+ nonprofits around the Denver Metro area.

For the 10th year in a row 1,000 volunteers will get their hands dirty to help over 50 nonprofits improve their facilities.
