Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus

For 50 years, the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus has been a community gathering place where families can share moments of wonder, joy and connection. Founded in 1973 by a group of parents, educators and other professionals who wanted to create an interactive cultural and educational institution for children and families, the museum has grown into a 9-acre campus with wholly unique exhibits including sky-high climbers, a Teaching Kitchen, many STEM-based activities, a multi-media Art Studio and so much more. The Children’s Museum focuses on experiences for children ages newborn to 8 years old but encourages guests of all ages to release their inner child! You can support their work this Colorado Gives Day and ensure they can continue to provide extraordinary experiences to children and families for another 50 years.

Central City Opera

Central City Opera’s mission is to sing extraordinary stories to spark imagination, inspire creativity, and open minds to the breadth of human experience. For more than 91 years, a tradition of excellence has set CCO at the forefront of opera. Your support is critical to our continued excellence. Founded in 1932, Central City Opera is the fifth-oldest professional opera company and the oldest performing arts organization in Colorado. Your Colorado Gives Day donation to Central City Opera supports world-class opera and musical theater productions, a young artist training program, and education and community engagement activities. The annual summer festival takes place in the historic Colorado mountain town of Central City, only 35 miles west of Denver, where the company owns and maintains 27 Victorian-era properties, including the intimate 550-seat jewel box opera house built in 1878. Help us keep the music playing.

Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum, one of the largest museums between Chicago and the West Coast, is an educational, nonprofit resource dedicated to inspiring creative thinking and expression through dynamic experiences with art. The museum’s global art collections provide invaluable ways for the community to learn about cultures and creativity around the world. Denver Art Museum exhibitions and programs are centered around our conviction that art and culture connect communities, foster acceptance and understanding, and transform lives. The DAM welcomes people of all ages, offering free general admission to everyone aged 18 and younger since 2015. Every visit to the Denver Art Museum has something new to explore and enjoy, including mindfulness exercises, artmaking opportunities, interactive games, and contemplative spaces—all made possible by the support of our members, visitors, sponsors, donors and the residents who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
