Spice Trade Brewery + Kitchen Introduces New Taste Of Asia Menu
New Taste of Asia menu will take beer enthusiasts and foodies on a culinary journey through Asia
Spice Trade Brewery + Kitchen, a culinary-driven, travel-inspired brewery and kitchen located in Greenwood Village, has just released a new Taste of Asia menu for Winter 2023.
Drawing inspiration from the diverse cuisines of Asia, the new menu showcases flavors from the Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, and South Korea. During lunch, guests can enjoy a $15 power lunch with choice of happy hour beer and choice of the Bahn Mi Sandwich (chicken or fried tofu, pickled carrot + Daikon radish, jalapeño, cilantro, and garlic aioli) or a Rice Bowl (choice of chicken or tofu, pickled carrot + Daikon radish, seaweed salad, roasted red peppers and cucumber). Come dinner, the menu includes small plates and shareable entrees, encouraging guests to sample a variety of dishes from each region including: Filipino Pork Sisig (savory braised pork, sous vide egg, soy citrus sauce, and calrose rice), Green Curry Mussels (green curry, coconut milk, lemongrass, garlic, and onion steamed mussels), and Miso Caramel Bread Pudding (banana pudding, miso caramel sauce, miso brown butter wafers, fried bananas and whipped cream).
New cocktails will transport guests to a tropical paradise in the midst of the Colorado winter. The Bangkok Dangerous (Thai basil, Joto Umeshu plum wine, Jones Family gin, lemon, and simple syrup), and the Scarlet Lotus (hibiscus-infused simple syrup, lychee-infused gin, Thai coconut milk, and coconut water) and the Kimchi Kettle Sour (5.2% ABV / 25 IBU), a lemon and cucumber sour infused with kimchi flavor, all pair beautifully with the Taste of Asia menu.
Additionally, the team has been busy brewing up new sippers to stay cozy for the winter time including a traditional dark Gruit-style beer, Figgy Pudding Winter Warmer (11% ABV), infused with cardamom, ginger, allspice, and nutmeg; aged in red wine barrels and fruited with pomegranate and persimmon, the Snake and Crane Farmhouse Ale (4% ABV / 19 IBU / Ale), brewed with apricot and a cold steep infusion of green tea; and a Mayan chocolate Whiskey Barrel-Aged King Montezuma (13.5 % ABV / 70 IBU / Stout). The brewery will be releasing small batches all month long (think: toasted sesame milk stout, gingerbread Vienna lager, peppermint milk stout) as well as a new seltzer collaboration with Sauce Leopard hot sauce called Crimson Cardinal, brewed with cranberry, blueberry, chipotle peppers and a blend of warming spices.
“Spice Trade Brewery was born out of the Yak & Yeti Indian restaurant and we’ve been exploring the flavors of Asia since we first started brewing,” said Jeff Tyler, owner of Spice Trade Brewery. “I’m particularly excited about this new menu as we’re focusing on some regions of Asia, namely Vietnam, Korea, the Philippines, and Japan, that we haven’t explored before. We’ve got some super unique dishes coming out of the kitchen including our Filipino Pork Sisig and Korean Tteokbakki with other classic plates including a rotating style of ramen and killer green curry mussels. Each course of our tasting menu has multiple dishes to choose from and includes pairings curated by our kitchen and brewing teams.”
Spice Trade is located at 8775 E Orchard Rd, Ste 811 in Greenwood Village, Colo. The brewery + kitchen is open from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday – Thursday, and from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
