Dining in the Dark at The Fort, Jan. 12
Located in Red Rocks Territory, The Fort invites guests to a unique dining experience on Friday, Jan. 12, with a “dining in the dark” event. Exploring and heightening guests’ taste buds, the event features two dining options, each including a four-course “secret” prix-fixe menu with mystery dishes picked by The Fort team:
Option one: A four-course meal featuring lighter fare, such as fish, poultry or vegetarian dishes, including an appetizer, salad, homemade breads, entrée, dessert and one historical cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage.
Option two: A four-course meal heavily focused on game meat, including an appetizer, salad, homemade breads, entrée, dessert and one historical cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage.
Holiday Suite at Death & Co, extended through January 2024
Keeping the holiday spirit for one more month, the ever-popular Death & Co Holiday Suite at The Ramble Hotel will now run through January 2024. Gather at Death & Co’s intimate Suite 6A, which is transformed into an elegant, wintry pop-up bar with a floor-to-ceiling makeover, creating an immersive experience within the cozy space. The extended Holiday Suite features specialty cocktails, rare spirits from sponsor Edrington and all the holiday trimmings and decor to create a memorable and very festive evening.
Slater’s 50/50 Stock Show Special
With the return of the National Western Stock Show from Jan. 6-21, Slater’s 50/50 – a five-minute drive from the rodeo – is offering the “Show Me Your Burger” Stock Show-inspired special. Available for $19.99, or $18.99 with a Stock Show pass or ticket, the burger features a game patty including elk, bison, wild boar and antelope, topped with cream cheese chorizo spread with fresh sliced jalapeños, fried blackened bacon strips and a house-made bourbon peppercorn cream sauce, served on a brioche bun.
New Winter Cocktails at Leven Deli Co.
Leven Deli Co., a modern deli, bakery and wine bar in Denver’s Golden Triangle neighborhood, is welcoming winter with the addition of three comforting new cocktails:
The Leven Fizz, a choice of liquor with tart lemon simple syrup and frothy egg white.
The Espresso Martini made with Colorado vodka or tequila, Atost Coffee Liquer and espresso.
The Winter Old Fashioned with Iwai Whiskey, bitters and orange peel.
These beverages are available daily and are perfect for brunch or afternoon drinks.
Postino WineCafé Now Pouring Cocktails at LoHi Location, Jan. 11
Starting Jan. 11, Postino WineCafé, a wine bar in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood, will offer cocktails for the first time ever! The fresh new cocktail menu includes classics such as an Aperol Spritz, a Classic G&T and a Negroni, as well as unique sippers like the Tré Cucumber (Helix Vodka, Caravella Limoncello, cucumber and honey), the Prickly Pear Mezcal Marg and a Smoked Old Fashioned. These cocktails will only be available at Postino’s LoHi location.
