Experience wine festivals all over Colorado from Vail, Breckenridge, Park City and Denver
Summer is a time for sunshine, festivals and wine. In Colorado there are plenty of wine festivals to go around and they are coming up soon. Here are four Colorado mountain wine events that you can plan for and enjoy that you don’t want to miss.
Breckenridge Wine Classic
August 22-24, 2024
The picturesque Breckenridge Wine Classic, produced by Colorado-based Team Player Productions, is a three-day festival anchored by the two-day Grand Tasting. In addition to unique seminars, activations and wine dinners planned by world-class sommeliers, more than 100 wineries, breweries, distilleries, and epicurean purveyors descend into Breckenridge at this ultimate food, wine, and sensory experience.
“Breckenridge Wine Classic should be a bucket list item for every one that’s part- epicurean, part-mountain lover,” said Breckenridge Wine Classic Festival Events and Marketing Director Kristen Slater. “You’re surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, under the Colorado sun, indulging in world-class wines – there’s no better way to spend a weekend.”
The 2024 Breckenridge Wine Classic includes:
The Grand Tasting, Friday, Aug. 23 and Saturday, Aug. 24: The Classic’s Grand Tasting features an impressive selection of hundreds of domestic and international wines, premium craft beer and spirits, alongside live music and endless small bites. In an effort to provide a truly intimate tasting experience for patrons, there will be three sessions of the Grand Tasting. Each session features the same beverages and samples. General admission tickets are $99, and early access tickets are $119, which includes early access 30 minutes prior to general admission and a commemorative glass.
Pairings & Seminars, all weekend: Ticketed wine experiences play into a variety of interests and activities. You could take a hike with beloved Colorado meteorologist and founder of Approachable Outdoors, Kylie Bearse followed by a paired lunch at a standout Breckenridge restaurant, learn the basics of wine pairing with SommSchool Founder Kellie Martin, and more.
Wine dinners, Thursday, Aug. 22: Expertly curated wine dinners and paired lunches will be held at local top dining restaurants across Breckenridge with Master Sommeliers and winemakers. Restaurants so far include Carboy Winery, Radicato and Hearthstone Restaurant.
“Whether you want to learn about wine alongside the best of the best, get outside with your friends for an indulgent afternoon or just want to experience the Grand Tasting in all its splendor, there’s a place for you at Breckenridge Wine Classic,” said Slater.

Park City Wine Festival
The highly anticipated Fifth Annual Park City Wine Festival, the ultimate food and wine festival that brings wine experts and epicurean lovers together every year in beautiful Park City, returns October 3-5. After its inaugural smash success last year, Wine is Blind is returning and the festival is introducing another brand new event – Rarities & Reserve – which brings exclusive, hard-to-find wines to attendees. Due to the popularity of the all-inclusive wine tastings, Park City Wine Festival is continuing to host a second Grand Tasting session on Saturday. Tickets for the Grand Tastings, Best of Fest, Wine Is Blind and Rarities & Reserve are on sale now via Eventbrite. Paired wine lunches and dinners, somm-led hikes, and other add-on experiences will be announced in June.
Park City Wine Festival allows imbibers to sip, swirl, and savor wine from more than 100 international wineries from California to France at the Grand Tastings, while taking in breathtaking views of Park City’s fall beauty. Mix and mingle with winemakers and vintners, immerse yourself in the world of wine during expertly paired lunches and dinners throughout the weekend, add some adventure with a paired wine hike, and participate in events like Wine Is Blind, a new collective experience that reveals your favorite wine without preconceived notions.
“Every year, visitors show off that they’re hungry – and thirsty – for more Park City Wine Festival activations. We’ve added on new sessions and large-scale events to accommodate the growing demand. As always, the event does sell out, so we recommend buying your tickets ASAP,” said Park City Wine Festival Events Director Kristen Slater.
“There’s only one Park City Wine Festival – the ability to customize a wine-filled weekend that is as serious or as carefree as you want it to be is unparalleled. We encourage everyone to consider adding on an event (or two!) to your Grand Tasting as it very well could become a tradition that you look forward to year after year,” said Slater.
