The Benson Hotel Garden Night Library: A Summer Evening of Books & Community Saturday, August 9 | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
The Benson Hotel and Aurora Public Library invite you to step into a magical evening inspired by Seoul’s beloved night library tradition! Join us for an outdoor reading experience where the community comes together under the stars to celebrate the simple joy of books.
With APL’s Bookmobile on-site, we encourage you to bring a blanket or settle into our comfortable outdoor seating as we transform The Benson Hotel’s beautiful garden into a serene reading sanctuary. Sign up for a library card, browse and borrow books, and discover all the amazing resources your local library has to offer. Librarians will be on hand to help you find your next great read, local artist, Scorpio Steele, on hand for hand drawn portraits, and light refreshments and snacks will be available from the Common Good. National Dog Day August 26th
Customers can spoil their pups on National Dog Day with a Free Pawbender with any purchase. For those not in the know, a Pawbender is a mini serving of Good Times signature frozen custard topped with peanut butter and dog biscuits. Way more satisfying for the doggos than a pup cup.
Zorba’s National Dog Day BARKfast Club – August 26th 8-11am + Yappy Hour 3-6pm
Zorba’s is going to the dogs! Bring your four legged companion to Zorba’s and treat them to a menu made just for them. Think Chicken & Woofles (mini buttermilk waffle topped with unseasoned shredded chicken) and Scramble & Sit (two scrambled eggs lightly cooked and unseasoned).Of course, pups are encouraged to wear their Zorba’s bandanas, or get one on the day of!
Temper – Back to School Treats
Temper celebrates the return of back to school with playful and nostalgic flavors – think PB&J or apple bonbons (2 piece box $7.50), a filled bar with an espresso martini ganache ($14), and pure chocolate “pencils” ($5 for two).
Zorba’s August Wine Down – Friday, August 29 3-6 pm
For Zorba’s August Wine Down the theme will head south to Argentina and Chile. For $30, guests will enjoy pours of wine from both countries and well as complimentary bites including tacos and empanadas.
