Firefly Handmade Spring Market is set to return to Pearl Street Mall on May 16–17, bringing a weekend of artisan shopping, live music and spring activity to downtown Boulder. The free, outdoor event will once again transform the popular pedestrian corridor into a showcase of locally made goods and small-batch products.

Held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, the market will feature more than 80 juried artisans offering a range of handmade items, including jewelry, woodwork, leather goods, ceramics and specialty foods. Organizers say this season’s lineup blends returning vendors with new makers, creating a mix of familiar favorites and fresh discoveries.

Events like Firefly Handmade highlight Boulder’s strong maker community and ongoing demand for locally crafted goods. By bringing together dozens of independent artisans in a central, high-traffic location, the market supports small businesses while reinforcing Pearl Street Mall’s role as a cultural and commercial hub.

The timing also aligns with the start of peak spring and early summer activity in Boulder, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to shop for seasonal gifts ahead of occasions like graduation and Father’s Day.
