A Must-Visit Summer Spot for Wine, Food, and Afternoon Tea
Discover artful bites & wine flights at Evermore Café in Evergreen
Hello my fellow foodies and welcome. Summer is officially here, and I couldn’t be more excited. There are so many fun things to do in the mountains this time of year and I am sharing a very special place in Evergreen Colorado that checks all the boxes for date night, girls night, post hiking, or afternoon tea parties. Evermore Wine Bar & Café opened a little over a year ago, and I had the chance to go check it out for some Summertime foodie investigating.
Olga Gorna-Wojciak is the owner of Evermore Wine Bar & Café. She opened the café because there was a need in Evergreen for an upscale casual wine bar that was open later hours and a different type of ambience. Olga is from Poland and her heritage is reflected all over Evermore from the gorgeous wallpaper, the imported desserts, and the little reminders of Poland in the charcuterie boards. Old world charm was Olga’s vision, and it shows from floor to ceiling at Evermore Wine Bar & Café.
There are over one-hundred wines rated 90 or above on the menu, but if you can’t choose, there are several flights to pick from. The fights are presented beautifully and give you a chance to try some wines that you may have eyed at the wine shop but have not tried yet. They also have some innovative cocktails to choose from if you are not a wine person. The Stranahan’s Smash is all things Summer is a glass. Filled with fresh mint, blackberries and lemon, and Stranahan’s Whiskey, it is refreshing, and a perfect libation mix to make your patio time absolute perfection.
The food at Evermore Wine Bar & Café is a perfect fit for the extensive wine selection. It is important to note that every detail of the food is carefully thought out and presented like a piece of art. We had the German Pretzel, the Appetizer Tower and the Crab Cake. Get your camera ready because the appetizer tower is picture worthy. Enough for four, the tower is filled with three tiers of charcuterie, crudites and bruschetta. There are salads, flatbreads, a huge selection of coffee options, and beautiful desserts to make your experience even better.
Afternoon tea is something extraordinary at Evermore Wine Bar & Café. With 24 hours’ notice, they offer tea service accompanied by sandwiches, scones, and mini desserts complete with fancy hats and fancy décor. A great idea for a mother daughter date, girlfriends getting together, or a fun business luncheon.
The patio at Evermore Wine Bar & Café is primed for Summer fun and epic happy hours. Their large patio has live music many days of the week, and nothing is better than sipping wine on a Colorado mountain bluebird day. Evermore Wine Bar & Café is such and a fabulous addition to the already budding restaurant scene in Evergreen, Colorado. The wine bar has that extra special touch as it is a family affair. All 3 of Olga’s sons work at the cafe to make sure that your experience at Evermore Wine Bar & Café is beyond special. Next time you’re thinking about a fun place to go, head straight to Evermore Wine Bar & Cafe. You will be Ever-grateful you did. Until next time my fellow foodies, eat well, drink well, and be well.
