A Vibrant Hub Of Culinary Connection At The SAME Table Gala
Proceeds from the gala help SAME Café’s efforts to create community through healthy food
SAME (So All May Eat) Café invites the community to its eighth annual SAME Table celebration on Thursday, March 6, 2025, transforming Space Gallery into a vibrant hub of culinary connection from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Since its inception in 2018, the annual fundraiser has generated critical support for SAME Café, raising a cumulative $340,000. For 2025, SAME Café has set an ambitious goal of $65,000 to continue its mission of providing dignified, healthy food access to every member of the community, regardless of their economic circumstances.
The upcoming SAME Table event will showcase Denver’s culinary diversity, featuring an exceptional lineup of local chefs and restaurants. Guests can savor innovative bites from the chefs at Somebody People, Gladys, Jeff Gebott of Hesher BBQ, Rwandan Chef Vasta from Iwacu Flavors, Maggie Kates and Tyler Clare of Le Clare’s Patisserie, alongside the talented SAME Café team. The evening will also feature specialty cocktails and mocktails, craft beer and wine, a dynamic paddle-raise auction, a wine toss and a creative family-friendly zone with art and cookie decorating activities.
Auction items include a “Staycation Package” at The Benson Hotel + Faculty Club, a “Girl’s Night In Package” with bites from Wander and Graze Charcuterie, an in-home dinner for 15 people prepared by the SAME team, a family-style dinner for 12 at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield with a garden tour included, a week-long mountain stay in a 4-bedroom house located in Silverthorne, a cooking class for 12 at SAME, an iridology reading, sips from Madre Mezcal and gift cards to several Denver hotspots including Odie B’s, Hey Kiddo, and 801 Chophouse.
“Every spring, our SAME Table Gala is a powerful reminder of the compassion and unity within our community. Join us to celebrate a night of connection, good food, great people and to celebrate a movement that breaks down barriers and ensures everyone has a seat at the table,” said Carrie Shoes, executive director of SAME Café.
Tickets are on sale now for $75 via Eventbrite. True to the concept, those interested in attending also have the option to volunteer time in exchange or pay what they can. Follow @samecafe for more ways to get involved and to keep up with the latest.
