National Red Wine Day at Postino WineCafé, Aug. 28
Celebrate this red-hot holiday with two under-the-radar reds, available at all five Colorado Postino locations. For an interesting red blend available by the glass, try the Costa, a Postino exclusive produced by Matt Cline of Three Wine Company from vines in Suisun Bay, California. This blend is primarily composed of Carignan, a medium-bodied red varietal that displays red fruit flavors of raspberry and cranberry along with baking spices. Looking for a unique bottle? Try the Tenuta Delle Terre Nere Nerello Mascalese, produced in the Mount Etna region on the island of Sicily. Grown in dark volcanic soils, Nerello Mascalese is a food-friendly cross of Sangiovese and Mantonico Bianco and showcases high levels of tannins and bright acidity with notes of cherry, orange zest, dried herbs and minerals. Pop into your neighborhood Postino to try these unique reds for Nation al Red Wine Day! Learn more at postinowinecafe.com.
