Four Hot Holiday Pop-Ups You Need To Visit This December

With December in full swing there are events popping up all around the Denver Metro. With that being said, we’ve rounded up four holiday pop-ups you don’t want to miss this month:

Blazing Bright Holiday Bar Now through Jan. 1, 2024

Starting Dec. 1, all is merry and bright at The Inverness Denver’s Fireside Bar & Grill, home to holiday pop-up bar Blazing Bright. Upon arrival, guests will feel immersed in holiday spirit starting on the hotel’s elegant drive, complete with twinkling trees and festive décor. For a limited time only, the Fireside space transforms into the ultimate Blazing Bright holiday pop-up bar, featuring sleigh shots and other creative cocktails including the Angry Elf peppermint martini, an Ugly Sweater Weather mule and the Not So Silent Night sangria.

Blazing Bright also features decked-out charcuterie boards and other light bites within an over-the-top winter wonderland vibe. The Bah Humbug Hot Cocoa Bar features boozy holiday delights, more than eight seasonal toppings and a complimentary commemorative holiday mug. Oversized ornaments, wreaths, and a cozy firepit make the space the perfect place for a holiday happy hour or nightcap.

Holiday Suite at Death & Co – Now through Dec. 30

The ever-popular Death & Co Holiday Suite at The Ramble Hotel returns this season through Dec. 30. Death & Co’s intimate Suite 6A transforms into an elegant holiday bar with a floor-to-ceiling makeover, creating an immersive experience within the cozy space. The Holiday Suite features specialty cocktails, rare spirits from sponsor Edrington and all the holiday trimmings and decor to create a memorable and very festive evening.

Holiday Spirits at Poka La La La – Now through Dec. 30

Poka Lola Social Club is celebrating the holiday season all December long with a pop-up Christmas bar and expansive menu of specialty cocktails. The inventive list features festive concoctions like:

Yippie Ki Yay: Crafted with Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey, allspice and Kaladi Roasters dark roast coffee.

Ugly Sweater Party: Featuring hazelnut-washed Zacapa 23 rum, banana and chocolate.

The Muffin Man: Gingerbread-spiced Old Forester Rye Whiskey, Laird’s apple brandy and Benedictine liqueur.

‘Tis the Damn Season: With Reyka Vodka, Kaladi Coffee Roasters cold brew and salted caramel.

A selection of holiday shots include Meet Me Under the Mistletoe with vodka, cranberry and rosemary, My Family Is Making Me Bananas, starring rum, banana and lemon and a dealers’ choice flavor called White Elephant.

A variety of “No-No-No Alcoholic Drinks” will be available, with equally creative concoctions like A Charlie Brown Christmas, with chicory, baking spice and ginger beer; The Bunny Slope, featuring pear-cranberry shrub, citrus and soda; and Cuddle In a Cup, crafted with bittersweet chocolate, cinnamon and cayenne. Timberline Steaks & Grille Après Ski Bar – Now through Dec. 30

For those looking for a trendy holiday bar or Colorado après ski experience – but only flying though Denver during the holiday hustle and bustle – Timberline Steaks & Grille in Denver International Airport is offering cocktails on the fly with an après ski-themed pop-up bar, now through Monday, Jan. 1. Created in association with Grey Goose and Patron, the bar is open daily from noon to 9 p.m. Decked out in holiday après ski decor and a Grand Marnier ski lift chair photo booth, the bar features to-go specialty cocktails including a Patron Fresh Lime Margarita, Habanero Margarita, Grey Goose Espresso Martini, Patron Anejo Old Fashioned, Grey Goose Pear Elderflower Spritz and more. Guests can also enjoy giveaways, free samples and more during the week of Dec. 25.
