More than 100 years after the spritz was introduced in Venice, National Spritz Day is being celebrated in Longmont, Colo. Parkway Food Hall’s spritz menu, curated by the Front Range’s premier food hall beverage director, Rob Sloma, provides innovative twists on the classics and includes global ingredients like yuzu sake, lychee vodka, Chicago’s Apologue Aronia made with the U.S. Midwest aronia berry and even Dubble Bubble syrup infusion.

On National Spritz Day, Thursday, August 1, and throughout the weekend (through August 4), all of their spritzes will be $10.

Spritzes Include:

Dubbly Bubbly with Ramazzotti Rosato aperitivo, Apologue Aronia berry liqueur, prosecco, Dubble Bubble, lemon, soda

Pear Affair with Wheatley Vodka, Giffard Vanille, St. George Spiced Pear, pear shrubb, Cocchi Americano, chamomile, lemon, soda

Aichi Lychee with Shibata Black Yuzu Sake, Haiken Lychee Vodka, Domaine de Canton Ginger, lime, Fever Tree Cucumber Tonic. Ahead of the holiday, Parkway’s General Manager Rob Sloma has released this recipe.
