Welcome to our annual Confetti Issue. It’s always a labor of love for our entire team—filled with gorgeous weddings, exquisite floral designs, elegant place settings, lively entertainment, delectable dishes and all the details that make your event one for the books. Just seeing so many artists create such vivid gatherings brings a huge smile to my face and inspires me to up my own entertaining game.

We caught up with event designers, caterers, wedding planners, florists and everyone in between to bring you unique styles and looks to remember, and we’re not just talking about weddings. Think intimate dinner parties, family gatherings, baby showers and galas—it’s all about the details, so just wait until you see what we’ve discovered!

We also spoke with a local woman who creates luxury letterpress invitations that are works of art, as well as a mom and daughter duo who make upscale linen wedding planners and journals. They are simply gorgeous.

Beyond events, summer in Colorado is all about the great outdoors. In talking with expert landscape designers and gardeners, their sage advice on maximizing outdoor spaces inspires me to be more creative. Think meditation and pollinator gardens, cold plunges and even pickleball courts. If you’re short on outdoor space, these experts say container gardens can add beauty and offer a connection to nature.

One thing I love about summer is taking time to relax with friends and family, and what makes it even better is a summery drink. Don’t miss our roundup of some local libations to enjoy this season.

With lots to celebrate, I hope this issue makes you want to plan a party and spread some joy! Whether an over-the-top event or a casual summertime party, here’s to making the most of this gorgeous time of year.
