77th Annual Steer Showing At The Brown Palace Hotel

The National Western Stock Show’s 2023 Grand Champion Steer will make a regal entrance and waltz down the red carpet into Denver’s most elegant and iconic room — the nine-story atrium lobby of The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa — to be adorned with roses and preside over the hotel’s longstanding tradition of afternoon high-tea.

Tickets to the 2023 Steer at The Brown event are available now through Eventbrite and must be reserved in advance of the event. General admission tickets are complimentary, while a VIP Viewing & Luncheon option is available for $100 and includes a refined barbeque lunch and a signature Pendleton Whiskey cocktail to enjoy. Both the General Admission and VIP tickets include the opportunity to take a picture with the steers.

Following Afternoon Tea, the Grand Champion Steer will head to the Auction of Junior Champions to be sold that evening. The Junior Livestock Auction continues to encourage today’s youth to seek a future in agriculture, and to further their education. This unique Denver tradition is a celebration of the Mile High City’s western heritage.
