Pepper’s Senior Dog Sanctuary (PSDS) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides senior dogs a compassionate, forever home at their veterinarian-supervised sanctuary in Littleton, Colorado.

PSDS exists to help ease the overcrowding of local shelters, while providing quality lifelong care to dogs who may have otherwise been euthanized. Senior dogs are referred to PSDS by animal welfare organizations who struggle to place them for adoption. Pepper’s dedicated team of volunteers and staff welcome these dogs to their sanctuary where they receive love and specialized care for the rest of their lives.

Health, wellness, and community is at the heart of everything they do. Through their community enrichment programs, senior dogs engage in giving back to underserved community members such as adults with autism, students from transition schools, and senior living residence. Dogs and their community companions find joy in connecting, learning, and healing together.
