At the Armstrong Center for Dance, Colorado Ballet’s home nestled in the heart of the Santa Fe Arts District, the studios bristle with excitement and anticipation as the company prepares for its upcoming season. The soft pattering of pointe shoes intertwines with the delicate notes of Tchaikovsky, an enchanting prelude to the enthralling season that lies ahead.
Featuring five world-class productions at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver—Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Casanova, ALICE (in wonderland), and Ballet MasterWorks—Colorado Ballet’s upcoming season promises transcendent performances through tales of fabled romance, flawed legends, and magical trips down the rabbit hole.
The journey begins in October on the steps of a slumbering fairy tale palace and culminates in April with a trio of choreographic masterpieces that push the boundaries of ballet. Each step of the way, audiences can expect to be inspired, uplifted, and transported to extraordinary worlds as Colorado Ballet brings new and timeless stories to life. This season is not just a series of performances; it’s a celebration of dance that will captivate both seasoned patrons and first-time attendees alike.
Next spring, the magic continues off the stage as Colorado Ballet presents The One Gala on Thursday, April 17th, 2025. An unforgettable evening of philanthropy, The One Gala is a celebration of Colorado Ballet’s successes and propels the institution towards a bright future of artistic growth, exceptional dance education, and enriching community engagement programs. Celebratory cocktails, a ballet-infused live auction, a dazzling dinner and dancing, and an exclusive performance featuring Artists of Colorado Ballet are just a few highlights of the evening.
