Football is back and we wanted to share some game day specials perfect to satisfy your kick-off cravings. Here are eight deals to check out this season:
Slater’s 50/50
Calling all football fans to Slater’s 50/50, Denver’s destination for elevated burgers, bacon and beer. Alongside game day burgers and beer, Slater’s 50/50 offers a specialty football platter piled high with bacon mac and cheese balls, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, onion rings, wings, bacon chili ballpark fries and a variety of dipping sauces. Celebrate game day German-style with pints and schnitzel at Rhein Haus. With big screens throughout, Bavarian inspired bar and restaurant offers weekly game day specials on pitchers, beers and shots to enjoy while doing your touchdown celebration. To raise spirits even higher, Rhein Haus pours free kamikaze shots for every touchdown during Packers and Badgers games.
Wally’s Wisconsin Tavern
Whether you’re a cheesehead or cheering on the Broncos, Wally’s Wisconsin Tavern is Denver’s ultimate game day destination. With plenty of big screens and bar snacks galore, Wally’s offers weekly game day specials on pitchers, beers and shots to enjoy while cheering on your NFL team. Celebrating the bar’s midwestern roots, patrons can enjoy free kamikaze shots for every touchdown during Packers and Badgers games.

Pancho & Jane
The perfect spot to catch a game this football season, Golden’s Pancho & Jane is serving up tacos and touchdowns paired with stunning mountain views. Starting Sunday, September 8, the new taco spot will offer a selection of $2 tacos all Sunday long. For Monday night football, diners can join in on the games with football bingo to win free drinks and food.
Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar LoDo & Boulder
Enjoy seafood specials during the football season at the LoDo and Boulder locations of Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar. Starting Sunday, September 15, head to Jax LoDo every Sunday and Monday when there’s a professional home football game — or to the Boulder location every Thursday and Saturday during the college football season — to dine on game day specials. Offered only during Broncos home games, Jax LoDo will serve an $8 orange crush cocktail and $1 off draft beers, with discounted prices on the gumbo dog, sea dog, crab cake sliders and house sweet potato chips. Available only on home college football game days, Jax Boulder is offering take-home crab boil kits — including a $199 king crab boil, $144 crabby boil, $110 Dungeness crab boil, $110 shrimp boil, $100 snow crab boil and the crabbiest of the crab boil for $260. Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance of pick up.

The Post Chicken & Beer
Kick off football season with fried chicken and cold beer from The Post Chicken & Beer. Every Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Saturday when there’s a college or professional football game, all locations of The Post Chicken & Beer will offer 75-cent wings (on orders of 10 or 20 with a limit of 20 per order), two-for-one draft brews and house wine, $4 Touchdown margs, $10 Big Fun Drinks (including the Blue Out My Flip Flop with El Jimador blanco tequila and blue curaçao, Naughty by Nature with peach vodka and peach blossom schnapps and the Mama Said Knock You Out! with aged rum and grenadine), $7 Boilermakers (draft of El Corn plus a shot of Laws House Rye Whiskey) and $15 pitchers of any draft beer.

Located on bustling Pearl Street in Boulder, Centro Mexican Kitchen is your CU football HQ! ‘Ralphie’s Roadies’ will bring in a television and speaker for every home game and feature a special drink station with $10 margaritas, an $8 tequila sunrise and $8 beers. Centro’s game day menu also includes a five-beer Pacifico bucket for $25 and two-for-$10 game day shots. Pair your drinks with wings, tacos (potato, chicken or birria), nachos and a dip trio. ‘Sko Buffs!
West End Tavern
West End Tavern, Boulder’s historic watering hole, will run game day specials every Thursday and Saturday during the CU football season and on Sundays (and Mondays if there’s a game) during the professional football season. Grab Tavern nachos, Disco fries, Buffalo chicken mac n cheese, or a game day sampler with onion rings, wings and fries. Drink specials include shot and beer combos ($6 for Hamm’s and Jack Daniels; $7 for tequila and Pacifico), $6 well drinks, $5 draft beers, $20 pitchers and more.
