November 22nd and 23rd will mark the 48th Annual Edition of Central City Opera Guild’s L’Esprit de Noël Holiday Home Tour. This year, the tour returns to historic Crestmoor – a neighborhood that primarily consists of neo-classic, colonial, and Tudor mansions along traditional ranch-style homes – exactly 40 years after it was first held there. Five beautifully historic homes will be decorated by some of the city’s most sought after florists and table designers. L’Esprit de Noël will showcase the talents of Acre Collective, Amy Lauren Floral Design, Birdsall & Co., City Floral Garden Center, DeFINE Design, The Fresh Flower Market, KaraKara Blooms, Karli Spangler Events, and Rogala Design. Approximately 1500 tour goers will be able to experience a taste of the holidays while supporting the programs of Central City Opera.
L’Esprit de Noël serves as the primary fundraiser for the Central City Opera Guild, and thanks to the incredible generosity of an anonymous donor, this year will have double the impact with a pledged 1:1 match for every dollar raised. Proceeds from the Home Tour support CCO’s Summer Opera Festival, the preservation and maintenance of its 27 historic properties, emerging talents through the Bonfils-Stanton Artists Training Program, and educational and community engagement initiatives in schools, senior living facilities, and theaters.
