Sushi Box Sweet Treat Perfect For Valentine’s Day Weekend
Uchi and Cookie Rich team up to bring special “Fried Milk” Cookie four-pack with sushi boxes ordered for February 14th, 15th and 16th

A Valentine’s Day collaboration between Uchi and Cookie Rich, the culinary-inspired sweets company founded by Chef Lorin Peters has just launched. A special four-pack cookie box will contain two Fried Milk cookies-inspired by the signature Uchi favorite dessert and developed just for this collaboration alongside two of Chef Peters’ wildly popular Coffee Cake + Espresso flavored cookies. One four-pack will accompany each sushi box that can be ordered on three levels –Ichi ($95), Ni ($195) and San ($295). This special sushi box will be scheduled for pick up only on February 14th, 15th and 16th, and quantities are limited. Those ordering can add on a bottle of bubbles for an additional fee.
The Fried Milk cookie is a dark chocolate cookie with mini chocolate chips, a cornflake buttercream, and a dollop of salted caramel. The Coffee Cake + Espresso is a white sugar cookie with mini cinnamon chips filled with espresso buttercream.
“I’ve wanted to collaborate with Lorin for a long time and our sushi boxes provided the perfect platform to dream up a collaboration,” said Uchi Executive Pastry Chef Ariana Quant. Her interpretation of our Fried Milk dessert is the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the texture is somehow light and decadent at the same time. It’s the ultimate sweet treat after indulging in one of the sushi boxes.”
Cookie Rich is the realization of Peters’ vision to develop a cookie with a pillowy texture and curvy shape, resulting in a light product with a delicious, memorable taste. Drawing on her chef background, Peters uses premium ingredients and advanced techniques to create the perfect, well-balanced baked good, neither too sweet nor too rich.
“I have loved Ariana’s desserts for years and am so excited she reached out to do this collaboration,” said Peters. “I wanted to do our take on this famous dessert, Fried Milk, but in a cookie form. We hope all the sushi lovers enjoy our take on this cult following dessert!”
As a bonus, starting February 1st, Cookie Rich will add the Fried Milk cookie to their available flavors that can be ordered for pick up or delivery locally and shipped nationally as a part of their Chef’s Sampler.
