The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation held its 47th Brass Ring Luncheon on March 6 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. This annual event is a fun and fashionable way to support the Children’s Diabetes Foundation and honor its type 1 heroes. Judy McNeil was awarded the first T1D Changemaker Award. She has been involved with the Guild for 25 years, serving as president and chair of the Brass Ring Luncheon twice. This award honors those in either the guild or the community who have been a changemaker for the guild.
