Game Day Comes Alive from McGregor Square to Dairy Block and Union Station
Rally your crew and head to LoDo’s McGregor Square to help kick off another exciting season of Colorado Rockies baseball with an Opening Day Party on Friday, April 3rd.
The LoDo game day destination will get the party started at 9 a.m. with drink specials and a high-energy DJ starting at 10:30 a.m.
Don’t have tickets to the big game against the Phillies? Stay to watch the game alongside fellow fans on the outdoor 66-foot McGregor Jumbotron and keep the celebration going after the first win of the 2026 season!

LoDo’s Dairy Block micro-district is excited to celebrate the return of baseball with Game Day on the Block, a variety of baseball-themed activations held on Friday, April 3rd starting at 11 a.m. to mark the 2026 Colorado Rockies Opening Day.
Game Day activations in the Dairy Block Alley will include:
- A DJ and live bluegrass music
- Rockies Living Wall by Handsome Little Devils
- Pop-up Bars by Poka Lola Social Club, Blanchard Family Wines and Deviation
- LoDough Bakery selling special Rockies Purple Croissants
- Sarah O Jewelry handing out free popcorn in the Alley
The Bases Are Loaded at Denver Milk Market, which will be pouring special cocktails including a $7 Coors Field Cooler and an $8 Rocky Mountain Rita from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.; YumCha will be serving delicious Rockpile Dumplings. Don’t miss a live set by David Lawrence & The Spoonful Duo from noon – 2 p.m.
The Maven will be hosting Game Day Lobby activations from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., including:
- Custom Rockies branding by Ember & Stitch to leather baseball gloves, bandanas & more
- A Romero Cookies Pop-up
Poka Lola Social Club will be opening early at noon on Opening Day for home-run sips including a Well Shot & a Coors Banquet for $10 and House Pickle Shots for $8. Kachina Cantina will be serving special Margarita On the Rockies and Frozen Purple Margarita all weekend long!
Kachina Cantina and Poka Lola will also be offering a “7th Inning Special” on Opening Day – $7 shots at 7 p.m. ONLY!!
Stick around after the game for a FREE performance in the Alley from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. by Denver band Be Kind Remind, who play a mix of 80s hits, alternative, country, rap and classic rock.

Meanwhile, Denver Union Station will host its own Opening Day Patio Party.
Free and open to all, the lively festivities will kick off on the Terminal Bar patio starting at 11 am. featuring games, stilt walkers and more. Paizley Park – Denver’s favorite Prince tribute band – will be grooving outside on Wynkoop Plaza from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Designed for the entire family, attendees can show off their purple spirit with complimentary Rockies face painting and other playful surprises before heading to Coors Field for the 2:10 p.m. game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
