Snooze A.M. Eatery’s Earth Day Tree Planting Celebration

Since 2017, Snooze A.M. Eatery has celebrated Earth Day by planting a tree for every employee or “Snoozer.” This year, Snooze is partnering with its coffee supplier, La Bolsa Coffee Farm in Guatemala, to plant more than 3,000 trees (bringing the total number of trees planted by the One Tree One Snoozer initiative to more than 12,000). This year, Snooze will also plant a tree on behalf of every member of its MySnooze Bennyfits loyalty program who dines at Snooze on Earth Day.

In addition, Snooze is committed to donating $25,000 to The Young Farmer’s Coalition for Earth Day as well as year-round sustainability initiatives such as carbon-neutral delivery, Snooze-approved ingredient sourcing, waste diversion and much more. Guests can support these green initiatives by joining the MySnooze Bennyfts loyalty program and dining at any Snooze location on Earth Day, April 22.

Next Level Burger’s Earth Month Partnership with The Ocean Blue Project

For every Organic Ocean Blue Banana Shake sold in the month of April, Next Level Burger will make a $1 donation to The Ocean Blue Project, which removes five pounds of plastic from the ocean. This plant-based shake features house-made organic soy or organic coconut soft-serve ice cream hand spun with organic fresh bananas and spirulina for natural blue color and topped with vegan whipped cream and organic vegan gummy fish candies.

Next Level Burger is America’s first 100 percent plant-based burger joint chain on a mission to fight climate change. When diners opt for plant-based meals, they reduce the carbon emissions associated with that meal by half. In 2022 alone, NLB’s conserved more than 318 million gallons of water and reduced carbon impact by more than 9.6 million pounds, the equivalent of 28,090 households not using water and taking nearly 1,000 cars off the road. In addition to its vegan menu, Next Level Burger uses organic veggies, non-GMO ingredients and compostable to-go ware.
