We begin in November with a classic production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, the tale of a villainous womanizer who shows us the road to hell is paved with bad intentions. Next, Wagner’s supernatural drama The Flying Dutchman makes landfall in the winter with the legend of a ghostly captain who only has one day to break his lonely curse. The season closes in May with Saint-Saëns’s stunning operatic take on the biblical story of Samson and Delilah.
