Celebrate The Opening Of The New Exhibit at Denver Art Museum

Shaver-Ramsey Fine & Custom Rugs are excited to announce the opening of the Denver Art Museum’s current exhibition, Rugged Beauty: Antique Carpets From Western Asia. 

This is the first time an important exhibition of rugs has been held in Colorado. Many rugs that are displayed come from many countries such as Turkey, Iran and the countries of the Caucasus. The long wait has been worth it, as this exhibition has beauty, depth and plenty of history to mark this as an important event. The exhibition shows much diversity, ranging from an important medallion carpet from north-west Iran circa 1500, up through the early 1900’s.

The exhibition will be open through May 28, 2023, during regular museum hours. Private tours with Paul Ramsey will be Wednesday, January 18th at 2:00pm and Saturday, February 4th at 11:00am.
