Mile High United Way celebrated the power of women and girls at its annual Women United Luncheon on April 17 at the Hyatt Regency Denver, featuring Academy award-winner Mary Steenburgen as the guest speaker.

The “Timeless” theme embraces the values of kindness, humility, courage and integrity which are timeless.  Life-long community leader and philanthropist, Arlene Hirschfeld received the Frances Wisebart Jacobs Award for her outstanding

support of women and girls across Metro Denver.  Proceeds benefit Mile High United Way’s Women United initiative, providing women access to critical resources such as housing, job opportunities and quality childcare.
