Grab your broom stick and pointy black hat! Join The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa for a Witches Tea with themed treats and an eerie, enchanting atmosphere. Sip tea topped with Devonshire cream, and enjoy handmade pastries, scones, and tea sandwiches. Guests are encouraged to channel their inner witch and dress in their best costume for the occasion. The tea will take place on October 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Reservations are recommended and can be made at www.brownplace.com. The cost for this experience starts at $65 per person.
Monster Brunch Buffet

Join The Brown Palace Hotel for a Monster Brunch Buffet, a spook-tacular experience filled with tricks and treats. The family-friendly festivities include a buffet overflowing with delicious dishes and spooky delights, frightfully fun decor, and ghouls and goblins galore. Little ones are encouraged to dress up in their costumes. The brunch will take place on October 27, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

36th Annual Champagne Cascade

Celebrate the start of the holiday season at the 36th Annual Champagne Cascade – one of The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa’s most iconic and time-honored traditions. The hotel’s spectacular multi-leveled atrium transforms into a picture-perfect backdrop for the ensuing festivities.
The annual event features swordsman using Napoleonic sabers to sever the bottlenecks of Moet champagne bottles and then pour the bubbly into the uppermost glass of an incredible two-story high, 5,200+ glass pyramid. As the champagne flows, it cascades into the glasses below, creating a dazzling display for the hundreds of spectators. Benefitting Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation, the event takes place on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $45 for adults or $25 for children under the age of 12. An Early-Bird VIP option is available for $199 that includes exclusive viewing on the Mezzanine level of the atrium, free-flowing champagne, light brunch fare, and sweet bites. Following Sept. 30, the price will be $250.
Holiday Tea at The Brown Palace Hotel

Experience this sought-after holiday tradition while enjoying Denver’s Grand Dame – The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa – in all her holiday decorated grandeur, with the Denver Debutante Chandelier being the star of the show. Guests enjoy a pot of properly brewed English tea accompanied by scones served with Devonshire cream and preserves, savory tea sandwiches, and a delightful array of classic tea pastries – all while being serenaded by a melodic piano playing seasonal and classic favorites. Dates are available November through January.

Thanksgiving Brunch

Celebrate the season of thanks at The Brown Palace Hotel’s Thanksgiving brunch, which will feature an elevated, reception-style buffet filled with delicious delights to evoke the feeling of the season. Highlighted dishes include Philly cheesesteak soup, ravioli with spinach and butternut squash, and salmon with bok choy, roasted onions and a miso glaze, alongside side dishes like Brussel sprouts with herbs and browned butter, baked acorn squash with pecans and cheese, and whipped sweet potato. A seafood bar and carving station will also be available, offering roasted turkey with gravy and house made orange cranberry relish, and oven roasted prime rib with au jus and horseradish cream. A decadent dessert bar will be overflowing with seasonal sweets including rum butterscotch mousse, sweet potato pie tartlets with toasted meringue, a bananas foster station, and more. The brunch will take place at Ellyngton’s on November 28, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to. 2:00 p.m.

Breakfast with Santa

Celebrating the magic of the season, The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa invites families to create lasting memories while delighting in festive flavors and special moments with Santa and his cheerful elves. The elevated reception-style buffet includes a spread sure to delight little eaters with classic breakfast fare including breads and pastries, eggs, sausage, yogurt, overnight oats; a pancake bar with a selection of sweet toppings; specialties like gingerbread French toast casserole; a prime rib carving station; macaroni and cheese, and more. Available on select Saturdays in November and December, the breakfast will take place in Ellyngton’s from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

79th Annual Steer at The Brown Palace Hotel

The 79th Annual Steer at The Brown Palace Hotel – one of historic hotel’s most time-honored traditions – will take place on Jan. 24, 2025. Upholding a beloved tradition in the Mile High City, The National Western Stock Show’s 2025 Grand Champion Steer will make a regal entrance and waltz down the red carpet into Denver’s most elegant and iconic room — the nine-story atrium lobby of The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa —to preside over the hotel’s age-old institution of Afternoon Tea. This unique Denver tradition is a celebration of the Mile High City’s western heritage.
